NOT TO THE DISAPPEARANCE OF THE MUSEUM OF THE SUIT
The phrase that heads my letter is the motto and the sheet that has been extracted in the Friends' Association of the Museum of the Suit, which the new Government wants to make eliminate before the stupor of many friends, admirers and, especially, donors of this institution. The funds of the Museum of the Suit later to the date of 1975 (we do not understand the porqué of this date, because we do not believe that it is that of Franco's death that nothing has to do with the creation of the museum not of before nor after the collections) go away to the Center of the Fashion that is going to install in the head office of Madrid the ancient Slaughterhouse to itself. And the historical part previous to 1975 (Fortune, Balenciaga, Pedro Rodríguez, the majority of Pertegaz) we do not know where it goes. The worst thing is that of seventeen thousand square meters of the current Museum of the Suit thousand of Slaughterhouse passes to four. The hundreds of donors that with so much I pawn delivered important pieces for this museum in the course of six years, they do not know now that they are going to happen with his pieces and are afraid of a mailing of the same ones to other cities, when mostly they pointed out it for the Museum of the Suit in Madrid, before a neutral form was done in this sense. The Culture leaders have not counted for anything with the donors that not with the scientific community of the conservatives The Research center of the Ethnographic Patrimony (CIPE) moves strangely to Teruel and we do not know if in this transfer it goes to include the collection of the duchess of Parcent and the popular suits. Everything what is to separate the textile collections is a serious scientific error because all of them constitute a connection without continuity solution. Would anybody conceive that Paris was losing suddenly his Museum of the Suit (Palais Galliera) or the Ethnological Museum? Since Madrid is going to remain without them for the strange maneuver of his current persons in charge, who want to leave the capital of Spain without this so interesting historical memory to the advantage of are not known what political interests.

In the latter weeks I have seen in the front of some magazine and also in a calendar edited in Spain women's photos - some artists and other current women - that have posed completely naked. It is curious that to justify his attitude the publications or publishers justify themselves saying that they undress “for a good cause” since according to them they do it to protect the environment, in favor of the water or some another claim for the style. And I wonder, as I imagine that they will make many different: is it that it is necessary to have for “a good cause” this excess that hurts the sensibility of many people and is a clear offense to the most elementary decency? What if it would be “a good cause” is that they were leaving these exhibitions of awful taste and were acting like women with dignity and common sense. Something that I make extensive also to the publishing houses that his photos publish of course by the “good cause” of gaining money.
